California Off-Premises Responsible Serving® of Alcohol Approvals
California
The Rserving® Off-Premises Responsible Serving® of Alcohol course can be used to train off-sale licensees and their employees in California. This California alcohol server / seller training may also be required by local jurisdictions (counties and cities that have passed ordinances requiring server and seller training).
Is RBS training required for off-premises licensed locations?
No, not for off-premises. RBS does not apply to "off-sale" locations.
RBS training is required for servers and managers at on-premises licensed locations.
Some local governments may require seller training for off-premises locations, but this off-premises training does not fulfill the requirements mandated by AB 1221. If you need an ABC approved RBS training, click here to take the approved RBS on-premises training.

Food Safety for Handlers Approvals
California (Pre-Licensing)
The Rserving® Food Safety for Handlers Course can be used to obtain your food handler card in California. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a food handler certificate of completion from Rserving®.
Notice to residents of Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties: This course does not meet the requirements in your county. A food handler card obtained from Rserving® will be valid everywhere in California (except these counties).
Illinois Notice to residents of Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties: This course does not meet the requirements in your county. A food handler card obtained from Rserving® will be valid everywhere in California (except these counties).
The Rserving® Food Safety for Handlers Course is approved in Illinois and can be used to obtain your food handler card in Illinois. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a food handler certificate of completion from Rserving® and a food handler wallet card will be mailed to the address on your account.
Arizona The Rserving® Food Safety for Handlers Course meets the requirements in your state and can be used to train food handlers in responsible food handling techniques in all counties in Arizona. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a food handler certificate of completion from Rserving®.
